Story of The Brand & Founder

Indian Cobbler Switzerland is inspired by my personal story and my passion for design, craftsmanship, and timeless style.

After completing my MBA, I began my professional career working for various companies. Despite having a stable career path, I felt something was missing. During the Covid period, I unexpectedly reconnected with a childhood friend after more than fifteen years. Through our conversations, the idea of building something together emerged, and that marked the beginning of Indian Cobbler Switzerland.

My connection to leather craftsmanship, however, goes back much further.

I grew up in a small town in India. From a young age, I had a strong interest in fashion and design. Branded products were difficult to access for my family, they were expensive and rarely available in our town.

During summer holidays, I often visited my aunt who lived in a large city. I was fascinated by a pair of branded shoes owned by my cousin, even though they were badly damaged. After some persuasion, I was allowed to take them with me. When I returned home, I brought the shoes to a small local shop selling leather and shoe repair supplies. There, I met a street cobbler who offered to repair them.

With curiosity and a bit of uncertainty, I handed over the shoes. A few days later, I visited his small workshop on a street corner to collect them. What I saw deeply surprised me, the shoes looked almost new. The precision, skill, and attention to detail left a lasting impression on me.

That moment shaped my appreciation for traditional leather craftsmanship and the people behind it.

Many years later, through renewed connections and conversations, the idea of combining Swiss-based design with skilled craftsmanship took shape. Today, Indian Cobbler Switzerland stands for timeless design, functional leather products, and close collaboration with experienced artisans.

Our products are developed with a strong focus on quality, material selection, and careful workmanship. Our aim is to create durable leather goods that meet the expectations of modern customers in terms of design, functionality, and value.

Indian Cobbler Switzerland strives to establish itself as an independent brand in the European market and to grow steadily through new products, clear design language, and long-term brand development.
